Here is the help folder to make you use Polynesian Web-GIS.
This geographic server lets you compose an on-demand map, link data to desired informations and compose a document according to the desired format. The resulting document can be visualized, printed and saved to a file.

to zoom in. In order to zoom in : select the desired zone by drawing a rectangle using your mouse or by clicking on the map.
to zoom out.
to navigate on the map using "click-and-drop".
to get back to initial map.
to navigate in the desired direction.

Navigation folder allows the access to :
-re-centering of the map by entering X and Y coordinates of the point.
-a drop-down list of scales.
-a drop-down list of links to pre-defined geographic sites.

allows the drawing of a point.
allows the drawing of a line.
allows the drawing of a rectangle.
allows the drawing of a polygon.

Drawing forlder allows the characterization of drawn objects (symbol, size, color, transparancy...). "Mask" mode allows the vizualisation of the map without drawn objects.

Double-click to finalize operation.

allows requests. Selected objects are hilighted and attribute data is printed. Informations are downloadable using CSV format. Warning, requests are permanent. To erase requests click on button "Erase request".

allows all trees expansions.
allows all trees closing.
allows the selection of all layers.
allows all layers unselection.

This folder allows the selection of all desired layers. Click on button "Refresh" to refresh map.

allows a layer go up.
allows a layer go down.

This folder allows layers reordering and transparency changes.

This folder allows PDF exports of maps using particular page-settings :
-Map size (A4 or A3) and resolution in pixels
-Portrait or landscape orientation
-Title display
-Overview map display
-Legend display
Click next on button "Print" to export map. This map may then be printed or saved to disk.

In Nvigation folder, map may be exported using HTML format and then be downloaded using jpg or gif formats.

Drop-down list "Map size" in navigation folder allows the selection of a size for the map window according to your screen configuration.

Drop-down list "Project choice" allows direct re-direction to the desired island.

Button "Login" allows your login using a particular profile if you the required rights.

Internationalization feature allows language change. To change language, click on desired language initials.

Infos folder provides informations concerning available data (ownerw, projections, ...).
